Hazel Thompson

For more than ten years, British award-winning photojournalist Hazel Thompson went undercover in Mumbai’s sex district to expose what is happening to young girls and women. At great personal risk, she immersed herself to investigate the disturbing truth about trafficking. The result was the e-book Taken, for which she received an award for “Most Innovative Media Initiative” from the Human Trafficking Foundation. Hazel Thompson regularly shoots photo assignments for papers such as the New York Times, Vogue, the Sunday Times and Observer Magazine.
