Elizabeth Gilbert

It was her own divorce that led Elizabeth Gilbert, the versatile magazine writer, novelist, and short-story author, to write about a woman’s search for everything that can bring happiness. Her 2006 memoir Eat Pray Love became a smash hit, selling 7 million copies worldwide. She’s been listed by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and is portrayed by Julia Roberts in the film adaptation of her story. Her new book, Committed, is about daring to get married again. Here, GRID Curator Stefan Mehr interviews Elizabeth Gilbert after her talk.
